European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) The European Union has come a long way in protecting the human rights of its citizens. However, more needs to be done. Discrimination occurs in all aspects of our everyday life such as school, sports, work, healthcare and entertainment. The 27 Member States of the European Union have established the Agency for Fundamental Rights to monitor fundamental rights and to help promote and protect these rights for all of us.
